Manon Pouillot

Manon Pouillot est artiste-designer diplômée de l’École Nationale Supérieure d’Art et de Design de Nancy (Master Design), du National College of Art and design de Dublin (Bachelor Textile) et de l’École Supérieure d’Art de Lorraine à Metz (DNAP Art).

Sa pratique du textile, sensible et contextuelle questionne les notions de durabilité, fragilité et réparation ainsi que les enjeux sociaux et environnementaux de cette matière. Imprégnée par la philosophie du Care, sa démarche créative est fondée sur une méthode empirique où l’empathie, le soin et la relation à l’autre sont au cœur de ses projets.

Manon Pouillot is an artist-designer who previously graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art et de Design in Nancy (Master Design, 2016), the National College of Art and Design Dublin (Bachelor Textile, 2015) and the École Supérieure d’Art de Lorraine in Metz (DNAP Art, 2013).

Her practice of textile – sensitive and contextual - explores the notions of sustainability, fragility and reparation as well as environmental and social challenges of this material. Inspired by the philosophy of Care, her approach is based on an empirical method where empathy and connection to one another are in the heart of her projects.
